As a kid growing up, I remember my Grandmother's sweet & sour meatballs that my Uncle now makes as does my brother. Someday, my brother will teach my son how to do it. I also remember, standing in my Grandmother's kitchen as the liver came out of the grinder, before the eggs and other ingredients were added to make chopped liver. These are both strong food memories that shaped me in many ways.
